200 Word Review
Coming across my findings, I am optimistic for the future of education, mental health and well-being. With the advancement of VR/AR, we can see what the future can hold for the future students; we could see adequate education in places where education isn't well-funded, giving incredible equal opportunities to all. Researching Labster Virtual Labs, I discovered a wide-arrange experiments/scenarios that puts the student in an immersive and detailed experience.
Further in my research, I have explored Rebecca Kirby's comics, entail the stories of her illnesses and testing. Shown in a raw, quirky but real way, exploring darker topics of those illness. Seeing into the social values of this, I can see this being a big thing for people have experienced these similar experiences and emotions, in turn, creating a community of people that all share this commonality.
In my final findings of my research, I have explored the Cunningham Dax Collection that explores the trauma of those who have experienced violence and loss through child abuse, genocide and natural events, those survivors created art and through that art they find themselves seeing what they experience and open up what's been hurting them for so long.
Exploring these topics has given me a greater respect and love for art and design as we try to make the world a better place.
My Findings Notes:

Reflection
This research task wasn't what I was expecting and a little harder to do than most research tasks since I had to dwindle down all my findings into 200 words. I felt a little disappointed that I couldn't speak about Qinni and her journey that inspired thousands and thousands of artists to pursue their dream while she faced a big battle against cancer- which she sadly lost to.
I was surprised at the extent of medical illustration, I was expecting technical drawings of hearts and such, however, it explored much more than that. Being able to explore topics of mental health makes me feel a little more comfortable with my connections with mental health in my art, I feel like I'm not alone. Seeing how conversations are happening and things are opening up, makes me feel better about what the world could be like in the future.
Although, I feel like I didn't do very well for this research task, and because I found it difficult- I may have to revisit this after feedback.
